Top Xmas Diet Tips

Festive Season MealsFestive Season Meals

  • Have a full glass of water about 30 minutes before sitting down to meals
  • Dish fewer carbs (less starches: rice, potatoes, pasta, bread and others) and replace with extra scoop of vegetables, protein or fruit
  • Choose less sugar (Almost all desert choices also have no sugar and low fat options)
  • Instead of having a full glass of wine, mix 1/3 wine with 2/3 water. Wine lovers: use a shooter glass, sip slowly (instead of a full glass)
  • Dish smaller portions, make meals a social occasion and spend more time at the table chatting than actually eating, (have another glass of water with your meal)

  • Avoid stressful situations, reduce stress, surround yourself with warmth, happiness and joy
  • Avoid stressful people or people that cause drama or generate conflict
  • Sleep an additional two hours per day
  • Love yourself first
  • Take a walk and try to see new things! Make a list of positive things you see on your walk. before your next walk, read through the list of good things you encountered during your previous walk, see if you can add at least one new thing to the list each time!
  • Do something you enjoy, maybe with someone else or even just you, by yourself!
  • Meditate, take an afternoon nap!
