Diet Ice Cream

Diet Ice Cream is not only very easy to make but is tasty, sweet and comes in at around 120 calories!

You can make old fashioned diet ice cream or you can add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence, or a few cut and diced frozen strawberries or other frozen berries to the standard recipe. Check the food table for calorie weights per portion

Two Ingredients: 4 bananas (1 per portion) and 250 ml full cream milk

Method: Cut ripe bananas into slices and place in deep freeze for 24 hours, after 24 hours place in blender and add milk until like ice cream consistency. Exact amount of milk depends on size of bananas, so add milk slowly and test.

The colour depends on how ripe your bananas are (so does the sweetness) and the creaminess depends on how much milk you add…
